Mixing Paint Colors

Does anyone have a good resource on mixing factory color specs for a 914?

My rear trunk had quite a bit of surface rust in it- ground most of it out and looking to re-lay the Saturn Yellow with an HVLP gun.

Ok- I gained some knowledge if anyone cares to use it.

I found the VW Paint codes on a Karmann Ghia Site

http://www.type-14.com/paint.htm

I was able to take this to a local paint shop who mixed a PPG color right on spot and I had him put it in aerosol cans for the trunk. I've got the sprayer, but since it spreads a lot of material, figured the spray cans were easier and less messy at this point.

I'll lay the white primer and spray the trunk this weekend.

Hope this helps someone.
Nate

http://www.towerpaint.com/ will also mix the factory colors and supply them in an aerosol can for spraying.
