CV joints
I have one bad CV joint. I need to replace. New 914 CV's are NLA. PMB Performance has a type 4 CV kit that they say will direct replace a 914 joint. They said that all you need to is find replacement roll pins. Here is the link to their offer:
http://www.pmbperformance.com/catalog/item/1925565/1478228.htm Has anyone used this set up and found it to work well? Otherwise, I can order a reconditioned complete assembly from Pelican or Auto Atlanta for about $200 a side, greased and ready to bolt in. Am I being penny wise and pound foolish looking for the cheaper way out? Is it wiser to just get the replacemen

He posts on the 914Club and sells his stuff in their resources section. I haven't read anything negative about his products.

Eric Shea is the proprietor, and he's here on this board. Ask him directly.
