the expected power increase is different for every engine... a better way to estimate is to use this formula...

orig hp X (boost + 14.7) / 14.7 = expected hp

so 7psi is about 50% power gain...

I tapped into ther oil pressure sender for the supply and dumped back into the driver's side valve cover.

Mike, regarding 8 hp per lb of boost, it is proportional to the displacement of the engine. Even then that number seems awful low.
The numbers I have seen are on average 15 hp per pound up to a point, then the rewards deminish as temps go up.
In fact I have seen dyno charts that support that number.

Hey Sammy,

Yea, I was being conservitive as well as just going by data I've seen for small motors such as the Miatas and Hondas. Obviously the VE of the motor will have some effect as well. How are you doing? Been long time since I've seen you, hope all is well.

Life is good, new job in the mechanical engineering department for a major oil company, the 911SC is running great at 8 psi boost and getting close to 300 hp, what more could a guy ask for?
