Brown and Black interior

I have the brown interior with black contrast dash and armrest the brown door panels and backpad are in great condition. I replaced the carpet with black , now I am thinking the most economical and easy fix for the seats which have thread worn corduroy seat inserts, would be the readily available black upholstery kit.

Does anyone have any pictures of this or opinions on how this would look.

I vote to stick with brown, but I'm biased.

Are you saying just replace the corduroy with black or the entire seat upholstery? I think if the entire seat were black, it would clash. Versus just the dash, etc creating a complimentary contrasting accent.

I was thinking the entire seat. I have the black twill seat savers covering them right now and they look ok to me. If I went with the black seats and I dont like them. I could complete with black door panels and back pad at a later date.

This is a black car and the brown interior looks fine to me in the black car, but I am an artist and have an open mind to such things, everything is subjective.

I would think having the seat inserts redone in cloth would be a cheaper alternative. Plus, not too many brown interiors around.

I don't think the black would look to bad. You have the black accents

on the door handles and dash pads - right? and if you have a stock

center console it too is black. If you aren't happy you can do the back

pad and door panels later.
