I recieved it yesterday in the mail...This thing is magical! Anyway, does the sender ring REPLACE the copper spark plug sealing ring doo-dad on the spark plug or does one put the spark plug ring and this ring together?

The spark plug "ring" is a crushable gasket....so, my young engineer, you should be able to figure it out.

The CHT ring goes under the crushable gasket with primary contact with the head.
