Brake M/C bore measures 17.45mm ???
My master cylinder measures 17.45mm and it looks stock. Has a big "17" near the open end. It is Ate and is from my '76 914. The seals even say Ate. any idea what is going on? It measures .688" if that helps.

The master cylinders are inch sizes.
marked 17 is actually 17.46mm or .6875 11/16" marked 19 is actually 19.05mm or .750 3/4" marked 20 is actually 20.64mm or .8125 13/16"
