It's probably worth $500 just as a parts car.

I would say yes. you could get that for teh carbs. there are really only 3 things that can kill an engine

1 lack of oil
2 mechanical interference
3 overheating

I think the heads would suffer damage first

Hi

This is a good deal
A set of used Dells in my neck of the woods catch about 400$, problem is... getting harder to find kits
A rebiuldable core would get 1K....
problem is if your living in the south western part of the continent, these can be found often way cheaper.

Of you want or need to rebiuld a carburated 2.0l for your ride, this is a score. I went a similar route and bought a core to rebiuld, and I am glad I did, its a good peace of mind to have a spare...in case.

Good luck
Later

I agree with Joe, good for the carbs. The heads are in need of a rebuild WITH NEW SEATS if its been overheated. I wouldn't run the heads. Crank and rods have some value (~$100) and if the cylinders are original, there's a little money there.

Pick it up.

Take the car, if anything it will give you a core 2.0 to rebuild and throw in that 1.8...

I have a nice set of Dells on ebay for like $400 with a pile of extra parts and jets. They were rebuilt by Otto's last year. Item # 8065857387
