3.2L serial number
Can anyone tell me model year for engine serial #64K00829
purported to be 1988. It is going nicely into my 73 914 Thanks Mark |
Not sure of the engine #, but you can check the 911 BBS. I do believe that they have had a posting on engine #s and years.
Oh, and congrats on the 3.2 http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/cool.gif I hope you are also installing the 964 cams. They make a BIG difference. I have a 3.2 in mine, and I still get that silly grin on my face every time I fire it up http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/biggrin.gif |
Easier to identify the engine by the number
to the right of the cooling fan. There is a vertical piece of the case that should have a number stamped into it in the format 930/xx this is an easier number to track... ------------------
