Went there, read the threads; not impressed.

Looked like a bunch of sophomoric, Porsche-owner-wanna-bes to me. Trash-talking a car they obviously know NOTHING about.

One knucklehead ("... plus the V8-engined prototype looked a lot better too …) apparently knows zip about 914 history, since the FLAT-8-equipped car was a birthday gift for Dr. F. Porsche's personal use, built on a typical 914 chassis; no major appearance differences ('cept when you looked under the lid!). Tell 'em to get a book and do some research.
