Mallory Unilight advance with carbs (suggestions)
Hey just wanted posts on people who have used this mechanical advance dizzy.
Most buy from Raby's Aircooled at the type IV store where it comes pre set. What are your timing marks? set ups? I'm at 30 deg btdc @3500 rpm. '74 1.8 carbed |

I also alter the advance curve, not just the initial and full timing. Using default settings of 12/28 with a grey pair of springs will get you closest to the default settings I give my dizzys that are pre-set.
Note that any setting not done on a dyno for any particular engine combo won't be absolute, but it's much better than out of the box settings.
