Rear Break Caliper Rebuild

I am in the process of rebuilding my rear break calipers on my '74 914. I have successfully removed both pistons, but can't seem to figure out how to remove the hand-brake arm assembly. The adjustment screw on the outer side of the caliper came out easily, but the one the inside (relative to the car) is a bit trickier. I was able to remove the little cogged gear that causes the adjustment screw to turn, but can't get the actual adjustment screw that threads into the piston to come out. The caliper was leaking around the hand-break arm's seal, so I really need to remove that part. Can someone please tell me how to disassemble these last two parts? Thanks

Have you checked the Tech Article on rear brake caliper rebuilding in the "914 tech articles" section of this website?

No Dave, I haven't. I didn't remember there being an article on brake rebuilds, but I will check. Thanks
