Piston direction

I am installing a AA Brand 96mm kit on my 1.8L motor. Normally the arrow on the piston goes to the flywheel - these have no arrow. There is a green dot on the inside of the piston. Problem is that the pistons have thicker part on one side (top or bottom?). The green dots are on two different sides of two pistons, therefore there are two possible ways to install these & have the green dots line up. Does the heavier (thicker) part of the piston go on the top or the bottom? They are flat top pistons, no instructions.

Thanks for the help.

Scott
