Proportioning Valve???

Slapping some new brake lines in the '73, and I will be using the proportioning valve out of my '75. Is there anything I should be aware (i.e. rubber seals, adjustments, etc.) of when switching them, or is it okay to just shoot some brake cleaner through it and install.

You need to get all the "brake clean" out for one thing. Might be better to just use compressed air or clean brake fluid to clean it.
