Backwards Color Code Number
One of my Pheonix Red 914's is stamped with L23K, rather than the correct L32K. Just curious if anyone else has ever owned a 914 with a reversed color code number?

Fredrich..."Ahhhh.....$hit....I stamped the wrong number on this plate"
Herman...."Don't worry, no one will ever notice" Translate to German :) |
That is interesting. I believe I have heard of a similar mistake before, the alpha character was wrong. Then there was one car where the chassis # and paint code were for the wrong car. Perhaps you could provide more info for my database.

Hey dj, is your 914 database online anywhere? what is in it? if it is you should have a link to it in your sig.

No, too much of the list is confidential. Basically a factory style Cardex with a bit of added info. Naturally, it is only data I can collect, so (a) there is not a lot of info there yet, and (b) I need data from everyones car to really make the analysis useful.
If you have a question, then ask, and I will try to answer. |
