Try Jack Doverspike at Stuttgart Southwest in Phoenix. They're a great shop for all Porsches, and do excellent work on 914's.

You may also want to call Don Jackson Enterprises. They are located near Peoria & 19th Ave. Don has been working with VW & Porsche engines for several decades, both street and racing. He's quite a character.

He is currently overseeing the work on my 2.0L heads.

If you're interested in taking on some of the tasks yourself, I'd be glad to offer my assistance. I'm located in north Phoenix. If you're sufficiently determined & patient, it's amazing what you can accomplish.
