1.7 heads on a 1.8 motor

Hello, I've got a set of 1.7 heads that I'd like to use on my 1.8 when I rebuild it (the 1.8 that is). I'd like to keep the 1.8 as stock as possible...L-Jet system, exhaust, etc. but don't know if those 1.7 heads will work with an intolerant F.I. system. Anyone out there ever try this combination? The intake and exhaust ports/valves are smaller on the 1.7 heads right? What would the compression ratio be? Thanks, Pete
