Well just saw the first July VW Trends, we made a nice bold heading on the cover, and a 4 page story, with a full installation of the direct fire kit and even some head install pics and text..
This is the first of our type 4 Engine articles, so everyone go grab one, and start your collection... PS I will be signing autographs at this weekends VW show in Marietta Ga, who is going???LOL LOL LOL Jake Raby www.aircooledtechnology.com |

Signing autographs?! You conceited slob! Humble thyself!!
Actually, you deserve all the attention VW Trends is giving you and your operation; us T-IV-equipped sleds sorely need it. Hope there's more coming your (and our) way! BTW: I realize it's quite a while away, but are you planning on attending this year's Florida Bug Jam? I can literally stroll to the show site. Sure would be nice to give Fisher Buggies (and their T-1 mavens) a T-IV run for their money. |

Jake,
I just got the vwtrends aricle on your monster type four twin ignition. It is very nice. One question: How much increase in HP "if any" does this twin ignition give an otherwise stock T-4 motor? As one of the few T-4 builders Keep up the outstanding work. Kelly |

The stystem requires a very large combustion chamber, especially with plugs placed in opposition of each other.
It is near impossible to fit both plugs in a head with less than 80cc of chamber volume. For this reason, we only use our twin plug heads on engines with bores of 103mm. |
