steering rack boots, turbo tierods

I have put a turbo tierod kit on my car, maybe two years ago. Car is still on stands. Looked under it, contemplating the project, and noticed my brand new turbo tie rod compatable steering rack boots (2 yrs old, not driven) are disinigrating, rubber cracked, and torn!!!


i was told that the turbo Tierod boot sold in the kit has been junk recently (my 914 from ten years ago did not have this probelm with the Turbo Boot I put on) The stock non-turbo boots are 30 years old, and in great shape, but they don't fit a Turbo Tie rod.

So does anyone have a source of good quality turbo tierod boots???? Generaly opinions is they have been crap for a while, that is the ones sold in the current kit.

Please advise.
