What is it worth? Part II
Thank you for all the responses on my last post. I took all the advices not to buy the car since it was overpriced.
However, I did find a new 914. Please let me know what you all think and what I should offer for the car. Below is the description straight from the seller and urls of some pics. 1971/73 PORSCHE 914. BODY IS 71 AND 2.0L D-JETRONIC FUEL INJECTED ENGINE IS 73 AND REBUILT WITH APX 15K.SIDE SHIFT TRANNY,APPEARANCE PACKAGE,STAINLESS HEAT EXCHANGERS,STEEL BRAIDED BRAKE LINES,ORGINIAL FUCH WHEELS (5),BURCH EXHAUST,FRT AND REAR SWAY BARS,CENTER CONSOLE W/ALL GUAGES,FOG LIGHTS,CHROME BUMPERS,EURO BADGES AND HOOD CREST,ETC. Very nice. The wood is a nice touch. I hope mine will look as nice and run JUST as nice soon. Hope things work out for you. It looks like a good clean find.

You're probably going to have to consider approximately $3,800.00; be prepared to work your way up to what the owner wants. Remember, he's "upgraded" it with most of the preferred items (2.0L fuelie, SS exchangers, console, appearance group, bits & pieces, etc.).
It looks like it's in very-good condition, even though it's not quite original. Figure around $4,300.00; prices in your immediate area usually determine the final figure. |
