Glove box door removal?
Any body have a good way to remove and replace the glove box door? i have destroyed the door that was in the car, plus one of the springs that holds it open. Anybody have a idea on how to get the new one in there before I destroy the new door, dash, or glove box itself? Oh yeah, i am a little frustrated now!

(1) Remove the glove box
(2) Remove the springs on both sides (3) Use a short flat screw driver to remove the two screws on the hinges I just did this to reattach the material on the outside of the door. The key was to remove the glove box first so you can get to the screws and springs. Dan Last edited by solex; 12-12-2006 at 05:11 AM.. |

Thanks for the help. Is there a trip to getting the glove box out? I can get the strap in the back off of it, but can seem to get the box out of the hole? i don't want to break or ruin anything!

Unfortunately you have to force it a little, don't be afraid to move the lower part of the dash down and forward to give you some room to get the glove box out. It some times helps to remove the knee pad
