has anyone used por-15 primer?

I am stripping and repainting my car and I am wondering if anyone has used POR-15's primer paint? Does it claim to be a rust protector like the undercoating?
For the people who have used the POR-15 for floorboards and undercarrige How easy is this suff to use, is it just like paint? Is it worth buying? Is there another better product out there?
Thanks,
Kelly

What I read in the brochure is the primer is to cover the POR-15 rust paint. You must sand or deglazing the coating if you want other paint to stick to it if you don't use the primer. I have used the POR-15 and it is great. I am sure the rest of the products are just as good.

I have used POR-15 on both our 914s and it works great. I wire brushed the rust as best I could, then I neutralized the rust like they said then used the primer then a black top coat. So far it has been used on the fire wall, floor pan, pedal area and both trunks. I have seen no chipping or flaking. You do have to follow their directions to the letter such as removing the paint to use and immediately resealing the can and also using rubber gloves since it will NOT come off your skin once it drys! IS it worth it, I'd say yes. Good luck.

I have used POR-15 and a product called Zero-Rust. I would highly recommend either, although the Zero-Rust is a lot easier to use, and you can get it in a great spray can.

With either I would remove as much rust, paint etc from the area, clean with a degreaser and pretreat with Rass-o-nil, Corroless or similar product.
