engine components

does anyone have any recommendations on carburators, which are the best? Also, i need opinions on if euro pistons or a big bore kit would give me more performance.

Well, to me, nothing beats Dells, especially 40's..

As for the pistons, it is hard to get good 96mm cylinders, the pistons are fine, but due to quality we had to change ring suppliers, and use individual pistons.

We torque plate hone, and set up ourr cylinders from german 94's...It works absolutely great, and the fins are correct and go all the way to the base of the cylinder root, instead of looking like WWII Chinese castings. The ends are true, and do not need lathe work, even after almost 30 years of wear..

Euro spec is the easiest, quality set up on the market.

Jake,
How much would a good set of Dell 40's go for used?
I have a set that is just sitting around the house after I swapped engines.

It has the linkage to go with it as well.

Paul
