Hi,
I’m currently in the process of rebuilding the engine of my Porsche 914 2.0l. One of the more expensive items in this process will be the cylinder kit. Here I have decided that I will most likely go for the cylinder kit called the “Euro Spec” kit. I found that a lot of mail order places claim to sell the “original” 2.0l Mahle kits. Nevertheless these kits differ significantly in price. Further I have noticed that these kits are manufactured in different countries, and that this is associated with differences in quality. May be someone here on the discussion board knows about these different standards regarding quality, purpose, and origin of these kits. will the "euro-spec" kit make the car go as fast as if it would have the cylinders borred out?
