The left rear wheel doesn't turn very easily with the parking brake is off (and the rear end up on jack stands). But the right one does. So, I think the parking brake for that wheel is stuck.
Any suggestions on fixing it? Thanks, Tom |

Did you recently install pads or rotors? Make sure the venting adjustment is correct. Also, make sure it is not an e-brake cable issue, you can easily disconnect them at the caliper to find out.

Initially, with the park brake off, check where the park brake cable attaches to the real caliper to see that the cable has released the lever. With the park brake off, there should be .008" venting clearance between the rotor and pad. The mechanism can get gummed up in the caliper or the piston can begin to stick. If you can get the caliper off the rotor and it's now free, then you have a problem with your real caliper, especially if the problem came on suddenly. A good sign of a sticking piston/park brake would be that the wheel feels much hotter (be careful, it can get VERY hot) than the other side.
