930RS steering wheel

I bought a steering wheel from a 930RS a couple of day ago. Today I tried to install it on my 914 and found out that the shaft on the 914 is way too big. I know I will have to change the shaft to a 930, but do I need to get the housing too? Can I get a steering shaft from a 911 that will work? Has anyone done this conversion before?

I did a 930S wheel and had to make a custom adapter. I used the female spline from the original wheel as part of the setup.

I like your adapter.

Momo has an adapter for the 914 but only for 72+. My 914 is a 70. What is the difference? Will this work on my 70?

I think I am going to try to make an adapter first, and if I can't, I will buy the momo adapter for the 72+
