The car that I'll be getting was originally painted this color
http://www.all914.com/carsforsale/1976/MVC254F.JPG Unfortunately the car was resprayed (poorly) in black. I'd like to go back to the original color (I think) so I'd like to see a complete car this color instead of just a trunk. Thanks, Mike Mueller '75 914 2.0 |

Thanks,
If that is indeed the color of my new car, I like it. |

That color looks great. I don't know about CA, but you don't see too many green ones 'round here (Boise).

BUT, the other reason is that as soon as finances stabilize, I plan to buy a 914/6 race car...a bunch of folks have convinced me that this 2.0 is too nice to cut up for a /6 conversion or to turn into a hardcore track car. I agree and will be looking for a factory /6 where the majority of the race prep has already been done. Chris C. |

Ok Chris, all is forgiven. Good point about your current car being too nice to cut up into a monster /6 racer. Good luck with your 911 (VERY nice car!!!) and with your family! It's all good as long as you replace your current car sometime in the future

I hate to admit this, but when I first bought this 914 it was for a temporary "toy" to screw around with while I was restoring my 911 (which was in the shop(s) for over 6 months). I never intended to keep it for much longer than 6 months.
That plan changed after about 2 weeks. Here I am 2 years later and now hopelessly "in love" with the 914. The little suckers get into your blood. If I do sell the ravenna car, I will not be teener-less for more than a few months. And the next one will be even more kick-ass ![]() Chris |

Mike, my son's car is exactly like yours. But has original paint. Also, his car is same year and model as yours...

L96N Viper...was reportedly only offered on the 76 cars...If yours was a 75....maybe its a very late 75 or the color was special order?
