993 Cup Wheels on a 914-6 ??
I recently purchased a set of (4) 9 x 16 993 wheels that I wish to run on my 914-6 as track wheels. The car is flared. I was wondering if anyone has any info on the spacers needed to run these and possible tire sizes. I could go to the 7.5 x 16 for the fronts but would like to run 9's all around. I know I have seen these wheels on flared 914's before but i can't seem to find any info on them.

I will be putting the 17inch Cup II rims on my flared 914 (front 7 inch; rear 9 inch). I have heard that some people have used one inch spacers in front and one and one/quarter in the rear. Have not verified this but the proper way is to measure to determine your needs
The 7 inch wide rims are good for the front, not the the 9 inch. Again I have not verified this and it will be this spring before I get a chance to make the mesurements for spacers, and determine tire size. I am running a Carrera front suspension and steering, rear gas shocks with adjustable spring perches (200lbs springs), Carrera rear brakes and e-brake, modified 911 half-sthafts with spacers, early 911 stub shafts, etc. hope this information helps you.
