If You Could Paint Any Color What Would It Be?
 

Hey guys well another post trying to sort out the future plans here. I will forsurely be repainting a car and have no clue on colors. I do know that i will want to paint the side sails and roof.. With that in mind do you have any favorites to paint the car. Im trying to find a color in a pic of whatnot of the color i wanna paint. The reason i say painting the side and roof is because ive noticed that some colors dont look very good with the painted side and roof. So if anyone can post some pics of painted tops and so forth with a few different colors id greatly appreciate and also the name of the color..

P.S. Does anyone have a clue to what they call a 993 color that looks blue turquoise?

Two colors: The light green that comes on the new Beetles, but with some extra gold metalic or pearl, or a color called Corinthian blue, with blue pearl. The blue color came on Lincolns town cars in the early 90s.

in my opinion, you should go with olympic blue...code L51P for 73-74. My car has this color on it and i love it! i cant figure out how to post a pic but when i do i will....

When the time for paint comes I will be torn between ocean blue metallic, and silver/titanium. I have seen pictures of both, and they seem to fit the car well. I would like something a little more subtle than "ticket magnet bahia red."

I personally like "Arena Red Metallic". There's a V-8 conversion this color, and it looks BAD!!

I'm with ya James. I have an '88 Carrera that is Turquoise. Hated the color when I first got the car. Now, I wouldn't trade it for any other color. I have had it for a year now and have been all over Pelican and the net in general but never seen another car like it. Not to mention its easy to find in a parking lot!
