Not a 916...could be a 914/6 GT though. Some of the reproductions are so good it's tough to tell whether they are real. But that one looks like it sure could be.

Nope, 914/6 GT or replica. 916 is very different. Look here for references to both.

Actally there is only one 916 in existance. A german made a copy on a 914 and let sign the papers to a Typ 916 with a VIN/chassis' 916. The TÜV made the error to sign Porsche as manufactorer in to the papers and Porsche didn´t had been amused but couldn´t force the TÜV change that. There are some spots to identify original cars but if you are in the buisiness you can copy a GT or a 916. It is just finding the parts and pay them and finding the correct papers and VIN´s.
