engine removel

well as I look at the engine it looks like to take it out that it's tight and that maybe I should remove the injetors to be safe. I'm going to have the RUST fixed. Any thoughts on this?

There is a very good technical article on removing a 914 engine elsewhere on this site. It entails using a funiture dolly and lowering the rear of the car to within 1/2" of the dolly then removing the motor mounts and the tranny mounts. The engine and tranny just plops onto the dolly. Then you raise the rear of the car and remove the engine and transmission while still on the dolly.

There are detailed instructions on what else to remove before lowering the car.

I used this technique and it worked perfectly and I didn't have to remove the injectors.
