Talking Question about clutch forks?

I have a 74 914 when I did the new clutch thing. I bought the Plastic spacers to hold the throwout bering, there is no room to use them. Do all year 914 use this ?

I have used the plastic spacers. I beleive all 914s use the same T.0. Bearing and fork. The spacers should work with your setup.

Hmmmmm,

The plastic spacers should be in there. It may not appear that there is enough room, but they will fit quite snuggly.

Using them preserves some of the geometry and will take out slop at the throwout.
