Questions...

I got my parts today! Yay, I'm so excited to work on the 914. I just had a few questions for anyone who might know: What size tires should I put on the 914? What is common besides the stock tire size? Also, where can I find a reliable windshield seal? I need the rubber AND the metal strip that go across the upper half of the windshield. I'm getting the glass replaced so I want to order that part before I do so. Last I checked PP didn't sell it due to poor reliablity, but I need SOMETHING rather than nothing. Thanks for your help...

So, the fun begins!

Though 205s may fit, 195/60 series tires are the reliable max for stock rims and unaltered fenders. Rolled fenders can tolerate wider tires and aftermarket rims may have the incorrect offset which restricts you to narrower tires.

Try the search feature to see lots of discussion on this subject.

Don't know about windshield seals.

Enjoy.
