Any idea where I can find or create black sail trim, and possibly roll bar trim???

Black Trim

Powder coat or black anodize is nice (and expensive). I've had good results cleaning trim parts well (roughing up the surface is not required) and painting with Rustoleum 7777 Satin Black from a spray can. I use a hair drier to 'bake' the finish. This results in a very nice, durable finish that can be renewed easily and inexpensively in the future. This still looks good on my 914 after 10+ years and I've seen early 911 trim blackened in this way that looks great for many years.
