exterior mirror question

i have several 914 mirrors btu one is different in that the 90 degree bend is much shorter and sharper than all others I had seen.
Anyone know what application or where used?

there were early and late mirrors, don't remember which is which, both will fit, just put together the nicest matched set

they are the same in angle position and how they sit.....
although in 3rd pic it appears much smaller actually they are only 5mm apart on the long side and the same width
appears factory...parts are identical ...the nut, the spring and sleeve as well as the shaft.


maybe an early 914/6 mirror? it came from a lot that had 914/6 parts, still have a couple of items I think

I think the smaller one is the later mirror, the big one earlier. Both are from 914's

According to www.914.com the smaller mirror with the angled arm is the earlier model. Here is the link to the Porsche 914 exterior side mirror page which has good info.
