Black Rear Panel on Euro 914-6?

Were the rear panels (area between taillights) on european 914-6's painted black from the factory?

Any differences between Euro spec 914-6's and US spec, besides the light lenses?

nope. factory was body color.

only difference in the panel between Euro and US should be the 914/6 emblem ...

Didn't the 916 have that black band between the lights?

73ess, the Euro emblems were 914-6 (VW) PORSCHE while the American emblems just had 914-6

Does the Euro emblem have the same three pins that the US emblem has?

I know you addressed the message to Andy, but...
The answer is no. The Euro emblem has 5 pins I believe. When I installed mine, only one or two original holes lined up then I had to drill the others.
