pertronix coil question
 
:rolleyes:Wondering if anyone can chime in as electrical is not one of my strong points.

I'm installing an Ignitor in my 1971 1.7 with stock FI. I have an Accel 8140C Super Stock coil. Accel says primary res is 1.4 ohms with a secondary res of 9. kohms. The pertronix instructions say you need 3 ohms resistance. Not sure if this secondary is making it ok or I need another coil?????

put an ohm meter on it, you should be okay. I am running a bosch blue coil with mine, but had to buy a new one as the stocker was a bit worn out
