205/60/15 question: Yok AVS, BF g-Force...?
Teenermen,
any good ideas for 205/60/15? Difficult size I know, but can't afford new rims right now. I need a high performance set a little mode durable than my rapidly evaporating Advan A048. Responsiveness, traction and grip are high on the list. Who cares about wet weather and NVH? The candidates: - Yokohama AVS ES100 - BFGoodrich g-Force Sport - ... Comments, advice and suggestions welcome. Cheers, J.

I am currently running Yoko ES100's on my 911 and I think they are a great tire for the price. Not the ultimate tire but I run it on the street and autocross and they stick fine and wear well. Good in the rain and fairly quiet plus they are fairly cheap.

Goodrich g-Force Sport. I have them on the 914 and I know a number of guys that run them on early cars as their street / De tire.

look at the kumho excsta SPT(summer perf tire)
other size will give more choices, 205-50-15, 195-55-15 or 195-60-15

Thanks everyone for your input. BF-G it is. I'll get into the 16x6 question next year.
Cheers, J.
