Post ANSA racing exhaust

Anybody knows where to get one for my 1.8?

Saw a mint '74 in the ebay, fitted with one. Really love Boxster like tips in the center of teh car width. Also other options with that style?

That is the same exhaust my 1.8 came with... pretty rusty as far as the pipes go. Sounds great though!!! No clue where to get one though, that is the first 914 besides mine I have seen with the centered quad pipes.

Take a look at the rear of my car... you may want to consider the Monza exhaust as a similar looking alternative. As far as I know, they are still available.

(FWIW, I did not buy it... it came on my car when I bought it.)

My 914 page is in my signature below.

Hope that helps.

IMHO you're better off buying an OEM or Ansa stock 'sausage' type muffler. Those other Ansa/Monza mufflers are not known for their performance, or longevity. I also am not very fond of their Bug-like sound...

I didn't have much of a choice... the Monza was on my car when I bought it... but so far, it doesn't seem all that bad. I don't know about performance or longevity... I haven't had it long enough yet to comment... but I will say... it doesn't sound "bug-like" at all!! Rather, it sounds quite aggressive, IMHO, and not too obnoxious... more like "ear-candy" to an enthusiast!!
