When car is hot the depressed clutch squeeks

If I drive the car for 20 mins or more, every time I depress the clutch I hear a loud squeak back by the tranny. What is warming up, expanding, drying out, or whatever, and how do I make the squeeky voices stop?

Muchos gracias

There is a plastic pulley mounted on the transmission that the clutch cable rides in. I would take it apart and clean/lube it.
