Do our cars have headlight relays?
I had to install headlight relays in my 911 to keep the voltage from running through the switch (not good), but...now that I have a 914, must I do the same modification? I'd like to run some 55w/100s H4's and don't want to do so without a relay. I do hear a clicking (relay?) sound when I hit the high-beams.

you need additional relays to run the 55w/100s H4's ...
pelican sells the relays as well as the H4 kits. you *could* run low/high through the same relay on each side, but it's easier to just get 4 relays and wire low/high individually on each side. the stock relays in the front trunk are for the headlight motor, not the bulbs ... ![]()

Thanks. Must I install heavier gauge wiring between the headlights & relay or is the factory adequate?
