Fuchs with spacers - no flares, fit?

Hey guys, I know another dang wheels question.

I have found a set of 4 Fuchs wheels, the fronts are 6x15 and backs are 7x15, new style (deeper dish and offset) used on early 911/912. Front tires are 185 70 15 Yokahomas the backs are MICHELIN Sport XGT V 205 60 15, the wheel numbers are 911 361 020.

The guy said he ran a ruler across the back and it looks to have 5.5 backspace.

My question is will these fit my 914 if I have to add a 5 lug adapter, no flares?

And are they worth $850 with tires?

Thanks again everyone.

They might fit, maybe, depending on the thickness of the adaptor. (BTW, I really dislike the adaptors; I don't think they're safe enough to use on a 914 the way a 914 begs to be driven.) The rears are the ones most likely to be a problem, of course.

Dunno what they're worth. Check used parts places to see what they want for similar wheels. The tires probably aren't worth much.

There is no new style 7x15 fuchs. All that were used on regular 911's etc were 23mm offset. There is the 7x15 911R wheel with 49mm offset, but those are thousands of dollars.

Maybe what they meant by "new style 7x15" is that the later ones use a different type of center cap. The early ones are in demand from the standpoint that they are more correct for an early RS and they usually sell for more money. As mskala said, the offset is the same.

I suggest no more than a 6 inch wheel under a stock 914 rear fender with a 205 tire.

As to the value, that would depend on the wheel's condition and whether they are real or replica Fuchs.
