Sheetmetal Gauge?
What is the gauge of sheetmetal on a 914?
I have a welder that states it will weld down to 20GA. Will it work? Thanks |

Most likely it will work. The chassis is mostly 18 Gauge.
The exterior is another story. While it may have started out at 18-20 Gauge it may be rusted down to paper thin. Just JB-Weld all that ;-) KIDDING! REF: 18 Gauge = 0.040" = 1.024mm 20 Gauge = 0.032" = 0.812mm -Rich |
