Question Rear shock removal

Can someone tell me the size wrench to use for removing the nut on the lower shock bolt? I think it's 27mm or maybe 26mm??? An 11/16 US looks like it might work, but it doesn't feel right...too much slop. Thanks for the help!

I just use a monkey wrench or a big (very big) cresent wrench.
If you leave the wieght of the car on the shocks while you loosen the nuts it is easier. Then remove the top retaining nuts and then raise the car and pull the bottom bolt.
should take about 10 minutes
