Post 911 wheels

Do all 911, 914/6 wheels have the same lug nut pattern, regardless of the year? Looking to put on some wider wheels and steel fender flares.

Thanks!

Jon

Yep....5x130mm if memory serves me...

The only difference is offset. In other words where the flat disc of the wheel is set in relation to the rest of the wheel.

A typical 16x6, 7 or 8 from a 911 will have the proper offset up to the late 83 sc. The wheels from the water pumpers and the later 993 wheels will not.

You can fit "some" 245s on a 7 inch Fuch, most if not all 225 tires will fit too...

205 is about the biggest you can get on a 6 inch wheel.

993 wheels will fit if you use turbo spacers. Dave at GPR has 993 wheels on his 914/6 and I do on my 911 SC. It gives it quite a different look.

944 wheels will work too, but watch out for post '86 944 rears as they have greater backspacing and MAY not clear the 914 trailing arm. (never tried it...)
I picked up a set 4 8X15" of BBS/Mahles for mine til I find 16" fuchs for a reasonable price.
