How do you decipher between a 009 and a .050 distributor. i dunno whitch one i have

Hey Eat-um,
The 009 and the 050 designations refer to the last three digits of the number on the side of the distributor. Factory distributors are equally identified like: 205A, 205Q, etc.. you get the idea. I guess the popular concensus indicates that the advance curve is more desireable on the 050 than the 009. (the advance curve comes in faster than the 009 does) I run the 009 right now but I'am willing to experiment with the 050 and see what my results are.
