Question Hi-Torque starter that Pelican sells

Recommended? How does it compare to the origional 914 in terms of power? Does it bolt right on like the origional, or do you need to "fit" it?

IMHO stock-ish /4's don't need it -- save a few bucks and get a Bosch rebuilt stock unit. Probably recommended or even necessary for big /6, V6 or V8 cars though.

AFAIK it's a straight bolt on, just a bit larger than the stock one but mounts up the same.

I have one on my 911 and it really zings...the big Optima red-top battery doesn't hurt either...
