Question just an observation and question

I was checking out the pics from Monterrey... and noticed in this 914-6GT that the ignition wires were not protected with a grommet. The wire holders for each plug were really cool but seemed overkill compared to the wires going through the sheetmetal. Wouldn't the wires going through the hole get chafed and possibly fail given harsh racing conditions (?)Also...what are the wires going through the hole going to? And how does a dual coil system work..is there a switch to go between the two? Brian

As I looked closer at the picture....I answered my own question...assuming that the 2nd set of plugs were located below the shroud. (I have actually never seen a dual plug/coil engine before) Thanks, Brian
