Hi guys,
Just wanted to know what came standard on the NorthAmerican version of these cars?
Also, do they take leaded or unleaded fuel? The one I want to buy is NOT carbs...it's fuel injected.
Also, is there anywhere I can find out which VW parts would fit on this car?
Thanks
Mike

Check out the FAQ for the 914 series either here on Pelican or on http://www.914fan.net It will answer all three questions. The fuel is easy though, they do not require leaded gasoline and most seem to run just fine on regular, although a lot of people (myself included) prefer to run premium because it lets the engine run a little cooler. My personal opinion on using VW parts is that while they are fine for certain trim pieces and non-vital engine pieces (filler spouts/caps/etc.) I would not use them to replace engine internals (pistons, valves, etc) however.
