Post Carbs questions

Hi to all. We found something tonight me and Marc-André Morin. The carbs were suddenly pissing thru the headers in a sole situation. When the car was uneven. The engine is a 2.2T into my 914 1974.

One time on the lift, and one time on the dolly. Both times were end of the car lower than the front. When the car is even, its not.

One guess is that the floats are adjusted a bit high, just on the edge of flooding.

What if i remove washers or put thinner one under the needle valves? Making them lower, hence hitting the floats earlier?

How does it sound?

Have you ever heard of different lengths of needle valves????

Thanks for replying.
