Its a trivial thing to some, but I love clean, shiney black tires. I have tried all the stuff that has been out in the last few years, but I have finally found the right stuff. It is meguiar's tire gel. it is a purple thick goo that comes in a clear bottle, the shape of a bottle of wax.
anyway, if you love your tires to look showroom new, try the stuff. I have had it on my 914 for 3 weeks now and it has not faded a bit. And I do not work for them or sell the stuff. Just thought others would like to try it. ------------------ Randy Foulds Salinas, CA http://www.pelicanparts.com/gallery/rfoulds |

I use the Meguire's stuff also. It is called Endurance and boy does it endure! I also use it on window seals and it does a terrific job on the bumper caps. I bought a bottle about 1 1/2 years ago and I still have 3/4 of the bottle. I don't care for the super high gloss look but you can tone it down and it doesn't seem to turn brown like some other dressings can.
